Of Mice and Male Movie Review

For anybody who has ever had a dream. This motion picture occurs throughout the fantastic anxiety and follows 2 drifters Lennie (John Malkovich) and George (Gary Sinise). Lennie is a big mentally challenged male who has the mind of a kid and does not know his own strength. George is a smaller man who has actually been taking care of Lennie since his Aunt Clara died who has raised him given that he was a child. George and Lennie have an imagine one day owning a little farm home with some animals.

Lennie’s drawbacks cause catastrophe. First off the performing is terrific in this film. John Malkovich records Lennies character best, this is precisely how I envisioned Lennie with his clumsy huge body. Gary Sinise who likewise directed the film plays the part of George does an extremely convincing task of safeguarding Lennie. I disliked how the movie opens with George and Lennie on the run, being gone after by a group of guys equipped with rifles and led by searching pet dogs.

The audience is led to think that George and Lennie are bad and have devoted a criminal activity, which we understand is not true, the incident in Weed was a misunderstanding. Secondly I really liked how John Malkovich depicted Lennie Small. He truly did an excellent job of pretending to be innocent and mentally challenged. His portrayal made me feel kind for the people that have a hard time in life. Finally, in my opinion the film-maker did a truly good job of transforming Steinbeck’s unique “Of mice and guys” into a motion picture.

I think that the best mix of action and humor is in the movie and the state of mind of the book is captured effectively. This is a fantastic film, a story about the friendship in between 2 drifters working the fields during the Depression so they can fulfill their dreams. I believe the entire cast is actually strong and the story is very good. I definitely recommend this film to anyone who has read the book or just wishes to see an excellent touching film with some humor. On a scale of zero to 5, I offer Of Mice and Male a 3.
