Of Mice And Guy– John Steinback
The title of the story is Of Mice and Male. The date of it’s original publication was in 1937 The authors name was John Steinback. He was born in 1902 and passed away in 1968. The main character is called Lenny. Lenny is a huge man. Lenny is mentally retarded and is cared for by his friend George. George is a small and stubby. George is the only pal that Lenny has and is his savior in every dumb thing Lenny does. George was basically given the job of looking after Lenny. A few miles from the Salinas River. Near the hillside banks.
In a really nice southern area with a river, mountains, and gorgeous sandy land. The narrator is John Steinback. Lenny was a mentally retarded man that had a fascination with mice. Lenny and George had an imagine having their own farm with lots of animals. Lenny particularly desired mice in his farm. However they needed to work on farms in order to get cash to satisfy their dreams. However every time that they would work on a farm Lenny would find a method to get them fired. When they got to deal with this farm with lots of people they met a person that had the exact same dream as Lenny and George.
There was a woman who was Curly’s wife. She would attempt to seduce Lenny into a relationship but Lenny wasn’t really mindful of it. Curly’s better half began to speak to Lenny and then Lenny was petting her hair and with his enormous strength broke her neck. Lenny was told by George that if he ever entered any problem then he must meet him in safe location. George found Lenny there and shot him in the back of the head. The basic tone was calm and at the exact same time sad. I liked the design due to the fact that he wrote the story so realistically. The grammar was written in a southern way.
Kind of like they carry out in the southern areas. I think that the story’s primary theme was a life full of the unexpected. There weren’t any leading symbols. I thought the story was so good and at the exact same time sad. The way that George killed Lenny. It wasn’t a bad thing since Lenny would have been eliminated anyhow. George did it to keep Lenny from doing any more damage. Although it wasn’t intentional. George did the very best thing for both of them. The story was heart warming because there are great individuals that do so much for the ones that need it.
