Friar Laurence Romeo and Juliet Monologue

Friar Laurence Romeo and Juliet Monologue

‘Romeo and Juliet’ monologue Both the Capulet family and the Montague family are fools. They believe all this combating will accomplish something? Well I hope Christ is considering them, for their sake. Now all this combating has actually caused the death of a child from each of their families. Romeo and Juliet are dead due to the fact that of this ludicrous fight, but I will pray for them none the less. I feel as though it is my fault, that I caused all of this, however they are still children of the Lord and it is my responsibility to take care of all of them.

I will pray for Romeo and I will pray for Juliet all night in front of the Lord. What if I had informed someone about the marriage and the plan to phony Juliet’s death? Possibly they would still be with us. Romeo was such a struggling kid. Initially it was Rosaline then Juliet. All he desired was love, and he had found it with Juliet. If only I had disapproved of their marriage then they may still be with us today. I must have told him it was a bad idea, that is would bring just trouble, but it’s too late now.

He had actually concerned me requesting for approval to be with Juliet, I understood it would be a bad idea. Romeo originating from the Montague family and Juliet the Capulet’s. However I had thought that perhaps if may end the fight, bring peace to Verona, however all it had done is bring sadness and sadness. Romeo and Juliet concerned me when I was to marry them. At the time I understood of Romeo’s banishment however I did not know what for. They looked so happy together. I thought that all would be well in Verona soon. But I was so extremely incorrect. They love that Romeo and Juliet had for each other was overwhelming.

When I married them I should state the lords light would have been shining upon them at that time. It was to be the last night Romeo would invest with Juliet in Verona. I was delighted they were so delighted together. Any more unhappiness in their lives could have been the end for them, however I felt saddened that Romeo needed to leave so not long after the marital relationship. The banishment had taken its toll on Juliet. She was distraught for the truth the she couldn’t see Romeo every second of every day. She came to me with a plan to phony her death and leave the city to be with Romeo.

I was to send out a letter to Romeo telling him it was a set up to get Juliet out of the city, but I couldn’t even do that. The lord must have willed this to take place since why else would he ever let such an act take place? The death of two so in love, and so young. What if the letter had gotten to Romeo, things would be extremely various? The fight may have diminished. What if they had found Juliet when she was leaving or as she was awakening? Perhaps the lord willed this awful event to occur for a factor. What if they didn’t pass away and what took place next was even worse?

Well it doesn’t matter now, they are with the lord which is all that matters. I hope the Capulet’s and the Montague’s have seen what this feud has actually done to their families and will stop it. It has actually gone on enough time and has declared the lives or more of the lovely kids of the family. I should talk with Lord Capulet and Lord Montague and talk some sense into them both. There has actually been enough blood spilled here to last a life time. I should go now and ask the lord to forgive the Capulet’s and the Montague’s for the deaths they have actually triggered.
