The exact same day that King was arrested, a letter was composed and signed by 8 clergymen from Birmingham and entitled “A Require Unity”. The letter required ending demonstrations and civil activities and showed King as an “outsider”. King justified rhe nonviolent measures that sent him to prison and explained why the egregation laws versus blacks in the south should be changed.
A sob story that is being revealed throughout the letter would pathos. For instance “I would be the last to promote disobeying simply laws.” (pg. I S) This would be pathos due to the fact that he is discussing that he uuould not stop until they get the rights that they should have. Another example would be “A just law is a manufactured code that series with the mortal law or the law of god” 16) This is an example of pathos since he is describing how many individuals those days lust rely on other eople or What the federal government says its best for them instead Of going on and standing up for what they think in.
The whole letter reveals a discussion for pathos that explain the concept that he has actually set for lots of people and believe that defending their civil rights would be best for everybody and have equivalent rights for all races no matter their religious beliefs, color of skin, or ethnicity.
