Why I decided to pursue a degree in Biomedical Sciences I am making an application for an opportunity to study a master degree in Biomedical Sciences. My overall GPA is about 3.0, and my Dental Admission Test (DAT) is 18. I have decided to seek a master program in order to raise my GPA and join a Dental School to become a dentist. The program will help improve my academic background in the biomedical sciences and develop my credentials for admission into another health professional program. Moreover, the program will help me acquire diverse skills and knowledge in the areas of genetics, biochemistry, human anatomy, molecular cell biology, histology, pharmacology, human physiology, microbiology, immunology, and medical ethics.

Additionally, the elective credits offered in disciplines such as professional preparation courses (such as Medical Terminology, Health Career Planning, and Learning Styles and Assessments) will help to enhance my knowledge in various areas. The electives will improve my critical thinking, study skills, and augment my preparation for dental school application. Joining the program will help me get a good opportunity to interact with other health professionals. Interacting with other health professionals leads to exchange of ideas pertaining to the medical field.

The school has the state-of-art equipment that is necessary for todays medical field. The equipment can play a significant role when students need to indulge in research. The quality of students who took courses in this school is a clear testimony that it is an avenue for professionals of high caliber. The course’s period is very convenient; the sessions are well-arranged for students to get time to participate in other activities. Works Cited Midwestern University.
