book review Romeo and Juliet

December 5, 2014 Book Review Romeo and Juliet Romeo and Juliet is a catastrophe written by William Shakespeare in London from 1594 to 1596. It was first published in an unauthorized quarto in 1597 and licensed book appeared in 1599. The play begins with a big fight between the Montagues and the Capulets, two prestigious households in Verona, Italy. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet. They fall in love at a dance and accept get married secretly the next day. But after the marriage, Romeo gets in a battle and kills Juliet’s cousin. He will be banished from the city.

Friar suggests Romeo invest the night with Juliet, and after that leave for Mantua in the early morning. Romeo takes Friar’s recommendations. Juliet’s family is not familiar with Juliet’s marriage and desires her to marry Paris, a rich nobleman. Juliet goes to Friar who gives her a potion that will make her appear dead for three days. Friar promises to send Romeo a letter. Juliet consumes the potion and everyone presumes that she is dead. But The Friar’s letter never reaches to Romeo. After Romeo hears Juliet’s death, he hurries to Juliet’s tomb and eliminates himself in front of her. When Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo is dead, she stabs herself ust as the two families show up together. The 2 families see that their beloved children are both dead since of their absurd battle, so they state a truce. Shakespeare is often thought about among the world’s greatest playwrights, and has a design to back it up. His disasters were written throughout his profession, starting with Titus Andronicus and Romeo and Juliet. A few of his catastrophes focus on love, such as Romeo and Juliet, and Othello. Each of these catastrophes includes enthusiasts who are torn apart for some reason. These disasters involve characters who have no control over their fate and re separated by things beyond their control. Shakespeare’s disasters evoke the Greek philosopher Aristotle’s theories of remarkable catastrophe. The greatest style in this play is true love. I think the author’s function of writing this play is telling individuals no matter what, true love will always come through; and nobody might change the fate. It is understood for the many phrases from this play which have actually become popular for expressions of love. The play shows 2 fans doing whatever they might to be together in spite of their feuding family, and also in spite of death. It likewise handles he idea of fate like many of Shakespeare’s other plays. The fate caused by the circumstances of the feuding households predicted that these 2 would not have the ability to cohabit with the total joy of their households. Plots are occasions that form the whole play. In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare portrayed two teens fall deeply in love, but with bad blood, issues are brought throughout the story, and end up with death. In this play, primary characters are Romeo and Juliet. Secondary characters are Friar Lawrence, Balthasar, and Paris. In Shakespeare’s day, poetry was the language of love.

When Romeo and Juliet initially meet, the language is poetic and full of depth. This strengthens the idea that the enthusiasts are star-crossed and meant to fall in love. Romeo and Juliet is written in the type of a play, making it harder to read than love books. The company and the writing style make the book understandable, however the language is challenging. So, I would not pick it up as an entertaining book before I go to sleep. However I still suggest it to my friends who have not read it yet because the story is stunning although it is a catastrophe and the effective love expressed in the play.
