Response to Beep Hello Minji Hwang, The clarity and focus of the story are exceptional. Everything described within the context is sensible and ought to be included. The reader does not lose focus because of the pragmatic organization and flow of ideas. In addition, readers do not have to reread the passage to understand the events described. There is a decent course of events, for instance, from the time Julie enters the thrift shop until she leaves. Furthermore, Julie leaves having accomplished the main idea in the passage; buying a dress from her favorite thrift shop.

Clarity of ideas and even flow in the passage stick with the core idea and plot without deviating to too many tangents. Organization of ideas for a slight part of the passage, however, breaks down. It is vital for the organization of ideas to remain in similarity with the reader’s visualization. The writer organizes ideas effectively for a commendable part of the passage. However, towards the end, there is a break when Julie promises Karl that she will show him the dress after she gets home.

After that incidence, the flow shifts the reader’s attention to memorable events concerning how she met Karl. In addition, dialogue at the end of the story is difficult to follow because the writer does not express the settings in which it occurs. Instead, the reader strains to comprehend the dialogue at that point of the essay. One part that could provide a good ending would be the events that unravel after the achievement of the author’s central motive in the essay. It would break the suspense if, for instance, the reader knows Karl’s reaction when he saw Julie’s dress.

Else, a depiction of Julie’s reaction when she fits the dress at home would inform the reader if she was happy and proud with her shopping wits.
